Features:hGtACR1 is human codon-adapted GtACR1. GtACR1 (Guillardia theta anion channel rhodopsin 1) is a light-gated anion channel rhodopsin derived from cryptophyte algae Guillardia theta. Its channel properties determine that it is more efficient than the commonly used NpHR. Anion channel rhodopsins (ACRs) provide highly sensitive and efficient membrane hyperpolarization and neuronal silencing through light-gated chloride conduction. The optimal wavelength for GtACR1 activation is 515nm.
