Features:This AAV expresses somBiPOLES-mCerulean driven by a neuron hSyn promoter in Cre recombinase-dependent manner.
hSyn is a Human synapsin 1 gene promoter. BiPOLES is an optogenetic tool for potent neuronal excitation and inhibition with light of two different wavelengths. Red light is used for activation. Blue light is used for inhibition.
Gene/Insert name:somBiPOLES
Tag/Fusion protein:mCerulean3
Titer:>1x10^13 VG/mL,>2x10^12 VG/mL
Volume:100μL
Xiaobu Tip: Note that to enhance the effect of bipolarity, somBiPOLE is designed to be more focused on the cell body and dendrites, resulting in weaker signals from fibers. Additionally, this component is a fusion of light-activated and light-inhibitory functional elements, which creates a larger protein structure that may lead to weaker signals. However, according to feedback from actual users, this does not affect the normal functionality.
