Features:This AAV expresses ChrimsonR-mCherry driven by a Mouse α-calcium-calmodulin dependent kinase II promoter
ChrimosonR is a new type of light-controlled ion channel that can respond to red light around 600nm. On the basis of Chrimson (CnChR1), the point mutation of K176R is made, which speeds up the speed of channel closing, so that at least it can effectively respond to optical signals of 20Hz and below. When used with Chronos, it is possible to control two different neurons with two kinds of fluorescence.
