In the golden autumn Brain Case Campus Tour starts again. This time, together with Dr. Su Peng, R&D Director, Brain Case came to Chengdu, the Land of Abundance, and had a face-to-face exchange with teachers and students from Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and West China Hospital of Sichuan University.
As the R&D Director of Brain Case, Dr. Su Peng has rich scientific research and practical experience in the development and application of neurotropic virus toolkit. In this lecture, he shared the latest results in the development and strategic research of viral vectors and toolkit by Brain Case.
Dr. Peng SU
R&D Director of Brain Case
PhD at Huazhong University of Science and Technology
Postdoctoral fellow at Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Studies, CAS
Main researches in the fields of neurotropic virus toolkit application, especially anterograde transsynaptic tracing viruses. Relevant results have been published in Neuroimage, Molecular Brain and other academic journals.
During the lecture, Dr. SU shared the basic knowledge of neural circuit tracing virus from theory to practice. At last, he analyzed actual cases based on the articles, allowing the students to have a better understandinf of its feasibility more intuitively.

The three-day lecture series "Brain Case Campus Tour" came to an end with bursts of applause. In communicating with teachers and students from the two schools, we truly felt their strong interest in neuroscience research and their unlimited expectations for the future of rivus toolkit research. This further strengthens Brain Case’s original intention of continuing to organize the “Campus Tour” series: to build an academic bridge for the new generation of neuroscience research and to serve the development of Chinese neuroscience!
See you next time!
