Features:The first-generation green fluorescent GABA(γ-aminobutyric acid) probe, a development of genetically encoded sensors from bacterial periplasmic binding proteins (PBPs) by insertion of circularly permuted fluorescent proteins.
Purified iGABASnFR shows a maximum ΔF/F of ~2.5, where ΔF/F = (F-F0)/F0 and F0 is basal fluorescence, and a dissociation constant (Kd) for GABA of ~9 μM in vitro.
